Landscape Service

The Acton landscape division offers you a complete garden landscape design and layout service. Water Features

Water brings movement and peace, and there is nothing more soothing than listening to soft running water after a stressful day. Acton Gardens specializes in all styles of water features to enhance the tranquility of your home. Our range varies from natural rock cascades to formal Grecian styles. A water feature can dance with the wind creating energy, or mirror a view on a still day creating a feeling of space.

Irrigation Installation

Acton Gardens provides professionally designed yet affordable systems as well as maintenance and parts replacements from the best brands in the industry.

Our proficient staff has within the means available to them, the ability to prepare a tailored proposal for your garden to the specific instructions and/or ambience that is requested. We are confident in our strengths and capabilities that lie in the flexibility and diversity of our team and products.

We offer WaterWise as well as Rain Harvesting systems.

Acton Gardens specialize in fully automated and manual, drip, porous, turf and micro irrigation systems with the use of the following trusted names in the industry: Rainbird, Hunter, Weathermatic and Toro.

Landscape Maintenance

At Acton Gardens we provide the following regular garden service as the norm to all our clients in residential homes, complexes and offices. We also offer maintenance service to commercial, retail and industrial complexes.

However, each of our clients has their own specific requirements, and we are flexible enough to adjust the services accordingly, therefore we can add some of the optional and additional services, until the client’s specific requirements is met.
 
1. Regular Garden Maintenance
• Lawns and edges cut at least once a week, twice if required.
• Weeding, turning and cultivating of flower beds.
• Dead heading flowers and lopping of dead leaves.
• Trimming and pruning of trees.
• Keeping electric fence clear of foliage.
• Removal of garden refuse caused by the rendering of our services
• Trimming and shaping of hedges and shrubs when required
• Driveways and walkways affected with weeds sprayed at regular intervals.
• Driveways and walkways swept.

Other basic services only need to be done during certain periods of the year, a short list of these services are mentioned below

2. Seasonal Garden Maintenance
• Pruning of roses and fruit trees (July to August)
• Scarifying of lawns (August to September)
• Compost and lawn dressing (supplied by Client) to be worked in to gardens and spread onto lawn when required (August to October)

We also offer additional service as mentioned below

3. Additional Services
• Dustbins placed for collection, on this day dustbin area is cleaned, and dustbins cleaned, disinfected and deodorized.
• Insure irrigation system functioning properly.
• Removal of packing material from dustbin area.
• Clean around the club house and remove waste and braai waste to the dustbin area.

4. Optional Garden Maintenance Services
• Rose care treatment (pesticide and fungicide monthly, fertilizer quarterly, And mulch annually)
• Planting of winter and summer colour seedlings(September and May)
• Lawn fertilizer treatment(October and February)
• Lawn-dressing supply and application(August to October)
• Plant fertilizer treatment (October to February)

• General building care maintenance in complexes and office parks.

• Pest treatment on plants (April and August)
• Broad leaf weeds control for lawn (April and August)
